Half Alive
To die
 But yet still live
 To burn in white-hot flames
But with no mark on the cheek
 The physical evidence indifferent
 You don’t know
 What’s floating in my head
 The urge to just die
 Hits me everyday
 With a force as overpowering
 As the ocean waves
 With tormented eyes
 And a knockout glare
 Who wants to live
Like there’s nothing to live for
 Who wants to live
Like the world’s devoid of life
 With the fact
 That everything is fragile
And permanent means nothing in this world
 Constantly
 Pounding
 On their brains
 When the only thing
 You have
 Is your
 Intellect level
 Suddenly your world
 Doesn’t seem so easy
 When you’ve loved so little
 And lost so much
 The world around you
 Looks so different
 Emotionless
Would be a gift from above
When pieces are all that’s left of you
 Nobody tries
 Wants
 To understand
 And then they wonder why
A punch stuns them in midair
 Who wants to live
 Like they’re half alive?
