Taking the Plunge
I sat on the edge of the cliff.
Unnerved.
Down below hosted thick, rolling fog,
And unimaginable horrors,
With an unpredictable future to come.
I sat on the edge of the cliff.
My feet swinging, looking into the void.
I sat on the edge of the cliff.
Knowing that I had to go through and across
To fix myself.
I sat on the edge of the cliff.
My heart heavy with uncertainty,
About what was to come.
I sat on the edge of the cliff.
Asking;
Will I take the plunge?
Only the void knows.
