I did it,
I finally did it,
And it was a total mistake.
Right now I am totally numb,
I can't even feel my own heart beat.
I couldn't believe what I heard,
"Um...um...no...I don't really know you...".
Those words cut into my heart,
Ripping out all hope I had left.
I couldn't believe you said that,
You have known me since you were 3.
I got over the “Um…um…no”,
But the “I don’t really know you” left me numb.
I just sat there,
Numb,
Still,
Broken.
My whole world fell apart,
Gone within a few seconds.
