Because the sky is blue.
Because the birds are chirping.
Because there is a warm breakfast on the table.
Because there is a family waiting for me to say good morning and goodbye.
Because there is a dog waiting on me to pet him.
Because there is a backpack with a charged computer waiting for me to pick it up.
Because I have car keys sitting on a hook in the garage.
Because I know that if I make a mistake I have people to help me.
Because of this, I feel at home.
Because of this, I feel safe.
Because of this, I am grateful.
