There Is A Girl I Know
There’s a girl I know
She lived each day with the flow.
Until one day she met a guy,
Who made her feel like she could fly
He swept her off her feet,
And made her life oh so sweet.
He promised her forever,
And swore he’ll let go never.
She gave him her heart,
Hoping he’ll never rip it apart.
Then one day her biggest fear came true,
She woke up lonely, broken and blue.
What happened to his forever?
What happened to let go never?
There’s a girl that I know
With or without him her beauty has a glow.
And when you look deep within her eyes,
You will see a hidden disguise,
Without his like you could hear her cries.
And as you watch her smile so sweet,
You will never know that inside she feels incomplete.
