Close Your Eyes
On Enchanted Island,
I go where all dreamers go
wondering in the land of the forgotten.
Admiral blues embrace sapphire skies
reflecting neptune's deceitful depths.
I walk along sediment sea stacks
watching the ocean mist glisten in delight.
Flurries of breath caress flying wings
chirping in nature’s unison.
I clench my eyelids in regret
as I slip between the helpless crevices of the present.
For now I am no longer in my paradise,
I am no longer on my Enchanted Island.
