More Than a Dream
I had a dream,
 A mystical dream,
 Of a saphire blue dragon,
 Soaring and roaring
 Above in the sky,
 The night time sky,
 With the flickering
 Candle flame stars
Reflecting off of her lustrous scales,
 Her rose petal sacles,
 While she belches forth
 A great stream
 Of her blue-and-white fire,
 Her sparkling fire,
 But perhaps it was
 More than a dream.

 I had a dream,
 A magical dream,
 Of many little fairies,
 Flittering and fluttering
 Around their shimmering glade,
 Their moon-lit glade,
 Teasing the many colored
 Flowers into showing
 Their pretty petals,
 Their beautiful petals,
 While occaisionally
 I might glimpse
 A pale, upturned face,
 A fair, fairy face,
 But perhaps it was
 More than a dream.

 I had a dream,
 A mystical dream,
 Of an elven lady,
 Dancing and laughing
 With a bell like laugh,
 A musical laugh,
 While she moves and
No sounds sound in the night,
 And her inhuman grace,
 Her elegant grace,
 Carries her away from me
 Through the darkness
 Of a pine wood forest,
 An endless pine wood forest,
 But perhaps it was
 More than a dream.

 I awoke in a glade,
 A shimmering, moon-lit glade,
On top of many colored flowers
 That showed their pretty petals,
And I was surrounded by scales,
 Blue, rose petal scales,
 And the echoes of
 A bell like, musical laugh
Echoes through the pine wood forest,
 The endless pine wood forest,
And I saw a majestic dragon,
And I saw many winged fairies,
And I saw an elven lady,
The mystic, magic, and mythic faces,
 So they really were
 More than a dream.

Rarely do I find poems with all of my favorite fantasy creatures.
And the repetitious words made it flow so much easier and made it even more special.
Fantastic job!
I promise you, I will never, EVER, stop writing. I love to write, and I can't help but to do just that. Unlike nearly everyone I know, I think writing IS fun. I don't care what others say.

I'd be happy to look at your writing. Thanx for looking at mine!
