Yard of Memories
Walking down the stairs, I look past our yard.
The pink wooden playhouse
Where many tea parties and dinners were hosted.
The blue trampoline
Our wrestling arena to crown our new winner.
The dead grass
Grand host of our holiday fire pits.
The 6 inch deep pool
Small and green from the fallen leaves nearby.
The broken down shed,
Rusted from both the rain and love.
The multi-seat swing
Where many conversations of life were held.
And the recently dug dirt
Of a fallen loved one, held dearly.
