Far From Home
Flying with John for so long
We immediately clicked
and became close friends.
Becoming close friends,
we both have shared a passion for flying,
pushing me to my limits.
Now, I'm on my own.
Flying solo.
John is gone for training.
Moving to Arizona soon,
I will be doing more training.
Flying for college every day,
I would look at a giant map
planning cross countries.
Leaving everything behind
I am far from home
but I won’t lose my hope.
