Blazing Moon
As the moon comes out,
ships return from a long day of sailing.
Docking in a run down harbor,
the ships must use the moon light to see.
Black is everywhere,
But a large milky white building greets men and ships alike,
The moon twinkles off of the tranquil water,
rises the moon.
Dark murky waves,
crash into the sides of boats
Musty wet poles stand high
Showing off their age and sturdiness
The moon, a symbol of light and hope,
lighting the harbor.
Casting reflections on the water
creating a magical ambiance
The moon is bellowing,
a marvelous tune
Down goes the moon
