Abandoned Harbor
The moon shines bright lighting up the cloud,
The water leaving reflections in the water's waves,
The little white house barely holding onto the slowly rotting docks,
The trees waving in the wind, little waves moving the standstill boats,
The broken wood floating around the abandoned harbor.
I stand at the edge of the lake looking into the lit moon,
I pick up the rotting planks that floated to the shore
I work to rebuild the docks that have fallen apart,
I work to rebuild what used to be a harbor before the storm hit.
