The Angel Sent From Above
Little girl why are crying alone in this corner
They say I’m ugly and fat and won’t play with me
Tell them they don’t understand that true beauty is from the inside
They say I’m dirt poor and can’t afford to play with them
Tell that that you are rich in love and kindness
They say I’m not good enough for them
Tell them that you are too good for anyone
They say I will never be loved and will always be alone
Tell them you are already loved
They say my parents died because they hated me
Tell them that your parents loved you so much
That they sent me
Wipe those tears, little girl
And take hold of my hand
Let me take you somewhere you will never cry
Let’s go see your parents
