The long awaited arrival
I sit and wait for your arrival,
long and excruciatingly so. I
ponder in my solitude, maybe
you will not show.
I sit on the edge of this pier,
I pound my fist on the
wood, how I long to be
in your presence if only I
could. My wait becomes longer,
as minute turns to hours, hours
turns to days. I sit here with no company,
only the sun's rays.
Anxiousness fills my mind, as tears
fill my eyes, the longer I cannot find you,
my spirit slowly dies.
But I dig deep, and I find strength.
Strengh for me to be, Becouse my
future, my exsistance does not depend
on you, it depends on me.
