What's The Point?
What's the point?
The morning sunrise doesn't look the same anymore.
Waking up feels like a burden to me.
Would anyone care if I was gone?
What’s the point?
Lunch doesn’t please my taste buds anymore.
Someone else deserves this food more than me.
Would anyone notice if I didn’t show up?
What’s the point?
I can’t get myself to try in school anymore.
My teachers and classmates probably look down on me.
Would they be happier if I was absent?
What’s the point?
Tucking myself in each night hoping to not wake up anymore.
I recall the day and why those actions haunt me.
Why is my phone buzzing?
There is a point.
My friends noticed I wasn’t like myself anymore.
They spent time to surprise me.
To make me feel happier.
They care about me?
There is a point.
They wanted to cheer me up, so I wasn't sad anymore.
They tell me how much they love me,
I couldn’t be happier.
Of course they care about me.
