You Started to Change
Monday things were going great
Tuesday you acted weird
Wednesday I thought "Maybe he's sick"
Thursday you disappeared
Friday was when i saw the change
And you didn't even care
You had a new girl on our arm
I thought "He wouldn't dare"
But you forgot all about me
Your girlfriend of 3 years
You never even said a word
Though you knew I'd be all ears
I wanted so bad to hate you then
but, i don't know, i just couldn't
You'd taught me so much about life
Forget you? I just wouldn't
I became good friends
With the boy that broke my heart
But i still loved you so
And on some days i would start
To tell you how i felt
But i knew it would never change
That girl that came and stole you away
The day you started acting strange.
