I smile
Shrug
It’s okay
It’s fine
I don’t care
I never really liked you anyway
And you turn
And walk away
Because, after all
You have better things to do
Than talk to an inferior
I act calm, cold and indifferent
But my heart screams
Don’t go
Stay with me
I need you
I love you
But, of course
I don’t matter to you
So you keep walking away
Not caring
If you hurt me
And before I know it
I’m dead inside

Another guilt-inducing poem. I hope this will be the last. But if it isn't, more for you, wonderful readers!

Aww. So sad. Nicely written, though!

I absolutely love this poem. I can really relate to it!!!!! It is sort of like some of mine --> It would make the person they are talking about guilty, but they have no clue, so it doesn't do anything. Anyway...love the poem!!!!!!!
