Dear America
Dear America,

  You are my friend right?
 We get through bad times,
 And good times,
 Happy,sad, or dull times,
But now I start to worry.
 Will we make it, America?
 The money is going thin,
And the war is still on.
 What is going on?
 Now that I am older
 I start to get wiser.
 I learn from history, America.
About economy, wars, mother earth, race, and propaganda.
Would you lie to me, America?
 Would you segragate us, America?
 Will you help mother earth?
 Or save the jobs, America?
 But I have feelngs,
 Deep inside,
In the corners of my heart,
And those feelings are believing and hope.
 I believe in you, America!
I have hope in you, America!
 And I know
 We will surivive.
     Your Friend

 An American Kid
