Perfection MAG
You had to be perfect.
Youhad to be beautiful.
Good health and good friends
just weren'tadequate
You tried harder and harder, but honestly,
what matters whenperfection isn't perfect enough?
And where did you go
when the going gottough?
And of all people, you should know now
That everyone is beautifulsomehow.
But still, the skin you were in
made you itch. Though youtried,
Your heart could not bleed off the poison
that was injected by yourown syringe,
loaded full with self doubt.
You never realized
whatyou had destroyed.
Your dream was full of empty hope.
No one is everperfect.
To you, that did not matter.
You had stars in youreyes,
and when you fell,
no one was surprised.
