Let it Go
How does it feel to know...
The best thing
That’s ever happened to you
Has slipped away
And is nowhere to be found?
When I try talking to you
It’s like
I’m knocking on a door
But nobody’s home.
Can’t you see?
All I wanted was my happy ending
But it seems like ,
That’s all been forgotten.
You tell me things
I don’t want to hear
Because you don’t know what else to say
But whatever you do
Don’t tell me it’s over
Because I no its not
You might as well just…
Take me away
If you’re even going to say…
Something like that
I’m going to put things back together
And make It last forever
Who knows what could happen?
Now I have to learn
To let everything in the past go,
So I don’t fall to pieces.
If it turns out,
He wasn’t what I wanted…
I’m not going to freak out
I’m just going to let it go.
