Why did you leave me, my love, so dear?
The memories of you, I hold so clear.
In your eyes, I saw a shining light,
A love so true, a love so bright.
Your touch, it set my soul on fire,
My heart, it knew no desire.
With you, my life was complete,
Our love, a work of art, so sweet.
But now, you're gone, and I am left,
To wonder why, to wonder what.
Did I do wrong, or did I miss,
The signs, the signals, the kiss?
I thought our love would last,
But now, it's just a past.
I'm left with tears, and pain,
And the memories, they remain.
