Emotional Emotions
In the midst of our heart
Emotions grow
Blooming with every experience
That our peers may not know
Joy warm in our hearts
With bright bursts of gold
With many memories
We grip and hold
Sorrow and pain
It seeps into you
Grain after grain
Tear after tear
Like a window
With racing rain
Anger like a fire
consumes with
more and more sticks
It begins to fume
A fire starts quickly
Just as anger that
Sometimes burns within me
Many emotions are the root of anger
They sink into anger like an anchor
Love, a cherry blossom
Fresh and renewed
On the tip of our tongue
We can practically chew
The fragrance is sweet
It's a nice treat
Gentle touch, tender heart
Fear and anxiety
These stand over you like a tall tree
Suffocating us
Not allowing us to breathe
They whisper in our ear
Piercing us
with a pointed spear
A shadow that will never leave
Hope
stars in a dark sky
bright and hopefulness
We can ride
till the day we die
our momentum
the coffee we need for our day
keeps our heart from going astray
