wash it down with rum
just to make myself feel numb
no, this isn't dumb.
it's just something i do
i do it to make it through
why would it matter to you?
i just want the pain to subside
i want to run away and hide
i don't want to stay for the ride.
you know, for me, it's the only way
so don't worry, you don't have to stay
because my last day will be today.
anything to make this end
make everything go away in my head
don't make any more of these amends.
