The Colors MAG
Writing Inspired by Henry David Thoreau
"Simplify,simplify."
How easy life would be
how understandable
if we wouldsimply simplify
EVERYTHING
into colors.
The world would become an oilpainting,
full of darkness and
light -
dullness and
bright.
A softblue would be the sky,
muted by the white mistsand
a deeper, more angry blue,
thesea.
Greens
both light andheavy
would be theforests
and grassfields.
Sunshine,
happiness,
love
yellow.
How simple life would be
howunderstandable
if money had no color
and wealth were transparent.
Andall that is left is an oil painting;
all that we see are the colors.
