I’ve been told too many times to
Suck it up take it like a man
But I’m still a young girl
That has had too many punches to the heart
And Too many kicks too my knees
Do I look like I am built of steel?
My hands are weak
As if I was on the ground for too long,
And trying to pull myself up
But I still stay down
Because I am a broken soldier
Did you think I could last this long?
