Drugs Hide Identities
Do you know the real me?
Seems like I have lost my identity
Considering all the layers I conceal underneath.
Hiding true feelings so you can’t see.
I drink to rid of all the pain
Take a shot, pass out, forget the shame
Heroine came to play the game
Now what’s my name?
Who am I?
I am no longer identified
Drowning and choking cause of my lies
Losing myself when I get high
Get stoned to escape the life of hell
All alone with no one to tell
Just tried the drugs wanting to rebel
Now I’m stuck with the life of hell.
Can’t find the stairs to recovery
The truth you will never see
Crack, cocaine, Marijuana, LSD
Just to get way from reality
The weight that is lifted you cannot believe
Because I quit look at my discovery
Drugs are the past cause now u see
Underneath it all, the real me
