A Day in the Life of a Modern Teenager

My burning Insecurities are eating me alive
Every day has become a fight full of strife.
Simple tasks have taken their toll
I look so young but feel so old.
Whether I'll make it through the day
One can only say
Burdened down today with all the structure
I dare not look towards my future
A day in the life of a modern teenager.
Life and death take an ugly wager.
The emotional hardship is clearly prevalent
Makes one question life and all it's relevance
