The Day Heaven Got an Angel Named Kelsey
April 3, 2009
Kelsey cowers in the corner
She can see his huge fist
His eyes are crazy drunk tonight
Her own fill with a salty mist
The first blow comes down
Right across her face
She cries and screams in pain
Blood’s dripping onto the lace
The blows keep coming
Kelsey’s covered in red, black and blue
Tears of pain flow uncontrollably
Please God, let him just be through
She suffered so much pain…
It is a very silent day
A little girl no longer cries
She went on to a better place
Kelsey grew wings that day…
…And now she flies.
