Unable to forgive
August 5, 2009
It gets to be a burden,
when your staying mad at a person for so long.
But theres a deep hole in my heart that doesn't want to fill,
and it restrains me from being merciful.
The anger that stirs in me has been locked away for so long,
its impossible to dismiss it.
How am I expected to forgive,
when I haven't even learned how?
A grudge is powerful,and easy to grasp,
I don't want to try to forgive
because that would mean letting go of the pain too fast.
