Spinning MAG
she spins around hesitantly
awkwardly
placing each foot to the left
in a toddler's dance
she spins
slowly, she turns faster
faster
faster,
until she smiles,
spinning,
feeling the makeshift wind
in her hair
Making her feel as if
she is
floating
she opens her eyes
and is dizzy
but in a good way.
and as she spins
in the toddler's dance
the room
the people
the fears
the worries
the deaths
begin to mesh together and fade
until the world
is a blur of colors
nothing distinct
and she is at
peace.
