Friendship
"Your friend is the man who knows all about you, and still likes you." - Elbert Hubard
"I have a hand, and you have another; put them together and we have each other." - Anonymous
"Too late we learn, a man must hold his friend. Unjudged, accepted, trusted to the end." - John Boyle O'Reilly
"Without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods." - Artistotle
These quotes speak for more than I can say,
for two of my friends are moving away,
It's so hard to not beg them to stay,
but I know it'll only lead them astray.
Yes, I know, its good for them to go,
A better education, a better school, all this I know,
But selfish me, all I can say is "no",
my thinking is so narrow.
I'll never forget them, 'till I'm old and gray,
the times we spent, in work and play,
Saying this is so cliche,
But it's true, thats why it is okay.
They'll always have a place in my heart,
so we'll never truly be apart.
