When scenic is considered
A cluster of trees on either side
And the smooth black of the road
Is replaced by dust-clouded dirt and pebbles
My concentration is broken
By the four-wheel drive taking action
And the mosquitoes flying in
I realize there is no civilization
But the moose previously mentioned
In the yield for crossings sign.
