My king, My hero, My everything
Two hours to go is what my moma would say as i'm getting ready. Getting ready seemed to take so long. It seemed like this moment would never come along.
I would wait patiently day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute. I would be waiting for my mom to fix my hair and make me look like royalty.
Here I go I put on the pretty white dress my momma had bought for me to wear to what I like to think as my own little royal ball.
I'm all ready now I look so pretty in my little white sparkling beaded dress. My hair all fixed in curls and a white beaded necklace that matched so perfectly to my dress.
I'm walking hand in hand with my father, my king, my hero, and my everything. We are going to the dance now. We are going to the father daughter dance and we look amazing just like a king and princess should look like.
Oh what I would give to be dancing on top of my fathers feet again. The memories we have shared and continue to share.
