It's Love
I wait everyday
For you to pass my way
But when you finally do
I have nothing to say.
I always check both sides
For you to grace my eyes
But when you finally do
I fall behind my guise.
Why then do I bother, everyday?
Why can't I keep this crush at bay?
Why must I live in disarray
And pray for these feelings to just go away?
Because it's love and it can't be tamed;
I'll sit here and take all the blame
For waiting and watching ‘til the end of time,
Even though you'll never be mine.

Very good.
Keep it up!
The short lines in the beginning actually gave enough depth to the poem. Typically, poems to me aren't very well written when the lines are short, but you managed to maintain depth! Good job.
