Excuses
You tell me you sorry
You say it will never happen again
You say it was a one time mistake
But guess what that’s what you said last time
And I believed you
I have heard this apology a thousand times
Word after word it’s the same
You tell me you love me
You say you will never find another girl like me
That I’m the only one for you
And you’re wrong because you’re not sorry yet
And your not goanna be sorry until I walk out that door
Leaving you behind
And yet I stand here wondering if I should believe you
Believe your lies
And push the truth in to the back of my head
But not this time I turn around and start for the door
You ask me to forgive you and say don’t leave
I stop look aback at you
And say not this time
You have hurt me for the last time…
