The Twisted Life of a Girl Flower
In the Dawn,
 a darkest hour,
 I've become a
 dying flower.
 Petals faded,
 Petals torn,
 Petals strained
 and Petals worn.
 Then in Day,
 the Sun rolls high
 and leads me from
 my path awry.
 A Friend, Brother,
 in my wake,
 pulls me from the
 killing stake.
 His hands are flesh,
 His heart is gold.
 He has warmed me
 from the Cold.
 I stretch, I yawn,
 the Day I reap.
 He pulls me from
 Eternal Sleep.
 His touch is Life
 and Life is mine--
 I rest on Him. He's
 my Cloud Nine.
 My curled-up Petals--
 they unfurl.
 I become a
 Human Girl.
