On Monday you came and smiled at

me and bought me lunch to eat.

On Tuesday you waited for me after

school and on the bus you saved me

a seat.

Wednesday when I forgot my homework, you

let me copy from yours.

You brought the fun out in math class when

it was a bore

But Thursday when I said hi to you, you

responded by rolling your eyes

And I saved a seat on the bus for you

but all you did was pass me by.

So Friday I ignored you hoping that

you'd see

that I noticed what a really dear

friend you've been to me

I guess you got the message 'cause

on Saturday you called

And told me it was not what I

thought it was at all.

You were just having a bad day and

you took it out on me.
