Humidity at the window
In this room without a view
The day outside is burning
But it’s dark in here with you
Dip a finger in the moisture
That clings naked to the glass
Write the words I’ve said too much
In the night that has just passed
And though it seems I cannot see
For the storm rising from my breast
I know I do not need my eyes
For it’s your words I love the best

And Ben, though I am leaving
I will close my eyes to say
Kiss me here and like the rain
I’ll come another day

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing..
