It Wasn't Supposed To Rain Yet MAG
It Wasn't Supposed to Rain Yet
If I told you that I loved you,
Would you even begin to understand
Seeing as those words so rarely come from a mouth like mine
To a heart like yours?
If you looked into my eyes,
Would you feel as I do
Seeing as you view things differently in a light of your own
In a time of your own?
If our lips should accidentally meet,
Would you turn your face away
Seeing as our lips seem never meant to touch;
We've been cursed so many times.
And I'd tell you what I feel
and look into your eyes
and bring my lips to yours
If I was sure you felt the same.
But I'm not, so I'll hide my heart,
And carry my regret to the grave and yet beyond
A love has passed,
My heart has died,
For feelings I didn't want.
