What did I do to deserve an angel?
Did I wait? Was I special?
How could one person look at me & tell me they love me
I didn't think someone would truly mean it
Sometimes I feel like its impossible & really isn't happening
But when my eyes meet hers I am speechless
When my hand touches hers I lose feeling
When my arms are around her I feel like I belong
I have never felt this way before
I feel so happy because I have an angel
She is my everything, my life
Without my gift, my angel, I would be nothing
Without her I am empty & alone
But now I am loved, I am special
