Broken Glass MAG
"A house divided against itself cannot stand,"
Slain by the brother's hand.
Nothing can survive in a vacuum,
Once paradise now a tomb.
"Ethnic cleansing" a mere excuse for genocide,
The numbers that have died,
Their blood cries out for vindication,
War crime,
It is not my time ...
... not my time to die.
Wage the holy war, kill for religion,
Quality of life cheapened,
The living envy the dead.
Where is God? I need Him now!
Does He hear our cries?
WHY MUST WE DIE?!
History is repeating itself,
Have we not learned a thing?
The skeletons in our closet,
Can they not stop the killing?
So many bodies, so few graves,
Look to the past, if we can still see.
Strive for peace while we murder our own,
Praise the Lord, pass the ammunition.
The new Holocaust hits close to home,
"Eye for an eye" is blinding us all.
All I see is broken glass.
Scattered shards of a shattered utopia.
