The Move's Been Made
Now he's made his feelings clear
 The lies have disappeared
But all's not as it should be
 The truth you cannot bear

It would've been better if you never had known
These feelings for you that he's never shown
Then you could be friends, just friends
 Like you were
 But now everything's changed,
 And you're not sure anymore.

 How can you see him
When you know what's in his heart?
How can you bear to be with him
When he can't bear to be apart?
You don't want to break his heart,
But you don't feel the same way.

 Love complicates what's simple
 Leads the innocent astray
 Turns friendship into... something else
When it's only felt one way
