A mask I wear.
My mask, My mask. It is me. With out it I'll be lost for eternity, I grab my mask like some a purse, for fear with out it I will not work. Oh cant you see in side my soal? A look of surprise I would behold. A song, A dance, I'm always always in a trance, waiting for my signal. A bell? The clock? I feel like I'm being pelted with rocks.A cry emerges from my lips, And my head it slowly tips. The utter pain, I must resign, And leave all my freinds and loved ones behind... For do they really know me? Do they wonder why? Why the simpilist of things make me want to cry? A mask I wear, It covers me, and lets my spirit wander free, A pictures worth a thousand words, But what about those left unheard?
