My Sneakers MAG
My sneakers lie in a closet upstairs,
Among many other different pairs.
They are worn, tattered, and very old.
"They smell terrible," I've been told.
They've been with me many years,
Through countless wears and tears.
My mother keeps telling me, "Throw 'em away."
But I like them, so they'll stay.
