"But I don't want to go among mad people,"Alice remarked."Oh,you can't help that,"said the Cat."We are all mad here.I'm mad.Your mad.""How do you know I'm mad?"said Alice."You must be,"said the Cat,"or you wouldn't have come here." Alice in Wonderland

She looked into the mirror one more time.
She opened her pill box and swallowed a handful.
She lay down on her nicely made bed,
And stared at the ceiling.
What had changed?
Her?
The world?
Must have been.
Technology everywhere,
Fewer resources,
Gas prices sky-rocketing,
Global warming…
Ipods, Macs, and high quality television.
Her breathing became harder,
She swallowed and took in a deep breath.
Stress, Back-stabbers, Bullies….
The list was long.
A single tear slid down her face as she remembered her years as a child.
She smiled as her eyes began to close,
“I’m sorry; I love you, goodbye…”
Her hand fell to her side
With a note held within.
