His Eyes
When you look into them you can see his soul
You can see the hurt that he has been through
The tears that he has cried
The days he spent alone show through
All of his parents mistakes show in his eyes
His beautiful brown eyes tell so much
 He is asking for help
 No begging
Begging for someone to reach out to him
He has tried to hide it for too long
 He’s breaking
 Falling
His beautiful brown eyes call out to me
 Asking for help
I take him in my arms
Tell him everything will be okay
 Reassure him
When I look into his eyes now
 They smile
