Child, look up at the sky
Tell me what you see
Do you see a world apart
from them and you and me?
Child, rest your feet upon this soil
Feel the mud between your toes
Take a look around this world
See the things it has to show
Child, dear, look at the world
And dance along the shore
And as the waves surge in and out
You'll know what life is for.
