Fingers to a keyboard
A pen to the paper
The way the words just flow from the mind
As if you were surrounded in a mysterious vapor.

A comfortable silence
Or the inspiration of music
Just the right feeling, or and incident that day
Is what cues it

A broken heart
Or a healed one
An imaginary friend
Or a real one

Open minded, you let your mind wander
With an open window,
Allowing in new ideas to ponder

If only they knew how it feels
To be able to let your mind explore beyond its walls
As if it peels away the stress,
And the fear to fall

Just take the jump
With your eyes shut
And while you’re flying
Open them up

Taking chances is what life is all about
If it’s a lost love, just look above you
If it’s a lost friend, just look around.
You’ll meet some one new.

So here I go
Writing down these few words
Trying to make an impression on the world.
