This anticipation, it crawls through every vein
This anticipation, it has my heart thumping
This anticipation, it has my blood pumping
This regret is returning
This regret, it kills my yearning
This regret, it always comes
This regret, it ruthlessly numbs
This fear is lingering
This fear, it’s hindering
This fear, it’s isolating
This fear, it’s debilitating.
