Dear Dad,
Daddy Daddy wasn't there
Cause daddy daddy didn't care
He left us broken on the floor
He didn't want us anymore
Being left like worn out dolls
Doesn't let you hear your friends, and family and their calls
Completely blocked from the cruel cruel world
And from people telling you that you're a pearl
Trying to get you back on your feet
So you dont miss, of life, a beat
He made us happy, He brought us joy
But when he left, He wasnt coy
And the tears that fall for him while I sleep
Are nothing compared to the tears my mother weep
Why He left I already know
And I hope for once he'll turn around and let his true emotions show
Though it does not make the pain go away
This is the one thing, to you, I have to say
Daddy Daddy you weren't there
Cause daddy daddy, truth be told, you didnt care.
