For as long as I can remember, I've been made fun of. I've been ditched by so many friends that it isn't funny anymore, all for reasons like "You're too anti-social. I wanna socialize" and "You don't trust me" and even "We just have nothing in common." Well, I was never boring, they just never gave me a chance to show them who I was. I didn't trust them because I met them not even a month earlier. And it didn't seem like we had much in common because they never took the time to get to know me. This poem was inspired by the ignorance of everyone around me, and hopefully I'm not the only one who wants a chance to show the world who I really am.
